Chapman Tate Associates seeks a SAM Support Analyst to join this award-winning and fast-growing IT Managed Services provider.

My client deliver a range of services within the Data, BI, Cloud and Datacentre ecosystem of tech. They are well-renowned within the UK and are making some major moves in their current market space.

You will be joining a team thatare dedicated to optimizing their clients' software asset management infrastructure and ensuring they get the most out of their software licensing and asset management portfolio.

They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions. To support their growing team, they are seeking a skilled and motivated SAM Software Support Analyst with expertise in Flexera (or similar based tools).

The role will be responsible for providing expert support and management of their clients' software assets using Flexera. You will work closely with their clients to ensure their software licenses are compliant, optimized, and aligned with their business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of software asset management principles and extensive experience with Flexera's suite of tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and Administration:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Flexera software solutions.
  • Assist clients in resolving issues related to software licensing and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain the Flexera platform to ensure optimal performance.

License Management:

  • Conduct software license reviews and audits to ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Optimize software license usage to reduce costs and maximize value.
  • Maintain accurate records of software licenses, entitlements, and usage.

Client Engagement:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their software asset management needs.
  • Provide training and guidance on best practices for using Flexera tools.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Generate and analyze reports on software usage, compliance, and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients based on data analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in software licensing models.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in software asset management, with a focus on using Flexera tools (FlexNet Manager Suite, Flexera One, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing models and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with software audits and license optimization strategies.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
