IBA Plant & Landfill Foreman
Hourly Rate - £18.00 per hour (plus benefits)
Hours - 40 hours per week, 8am to 4pm
Location Postcode - LN6 9BT
As the Forman, you will be responsible for the maintenance and condition of all plant on site, operating plant in an efficient and effective manner in line with the annual budget and manufacturers specifications.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday; however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
- Controlling the landfill disposal operations to ensure the achievement of budgeted revenue, operating profit and cash targets
- Maximising the use of void by optimising metals recovery and sales of aggregates
- Agreeing format of tipping with the Operations Manager & Regional Engineer
- Assisting in the development of phasing plans for the movement of the IBA plant
- Ensuring adequate dust control on Whisby
- Ensuring that operational activities and maintenance are carried out within budget
- Controlling the repair and maintenance procedures of equipment on-site
- Maintaining awareness of planning consents and waste disposal permits
- Maintaining awareness of, and adhering to, customers' needs on site
What are we looking for?
- Mobile Plant Experience (Wheeled Loading Shovels, Dozers and Excavators etc.)
- Administrative experience
- Basic computer skills
- People management skills
