Role Overview:

As a Level 3 CACHE Qualified Practitioner, you will:

  • Support Learning and Development: Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote the social, emotional, and educational development of young children.
  • Foster a Positive Environment: Create a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with other practitioners and educators to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to each child's development.
  • Monitor Progress: Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their milestones.
  • Engage with Parents: Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and adapt the curriculum to meet individual children's needs and interests.
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Contribute to planning and evaluating activities and experiences.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development.
  • 8am-4pm Term time only

Requirements:

  • Level 3 CACHE qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a prep school or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early years education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for providing high-quality care and education.
