Contract Role - Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager (Vaulting - Backups & Recovery) - Contract - Leeds/Manchester /Hybrid - 06 Months Initial
We are currently seeking a dedicated Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager (Vaulting - Backups & Recovery) to oversee the implementation of a comprehensive backup, recovery and vaulting solution across our organization. The successful candidate will ensure robust recovery capabilities while managing risks and maintaining operational resilience against various severe disruption scenarios.
Role Overview:
- Job Title: Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager (Vaulting - Backups & Recovery)
- Location: Leeds/Manchester/Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
- Contract Type: Contract
- Duration: 06 - 12 months initially (Project Duration 12-18 months)
- Sector: Banking
Key Responsibilities & Technologies but not limited:
- Proven experience in managing enterprise-level backup and recovery programs
- Strong understanding of cloud environments and related technologies.
- Knowledge of risk management and disaster recovery best practices.
- A technical or engineering background is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to develop strategic project plans and adapt to changing business needs.
- Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services is highly desirable.
Mandatory Tools & Methodologies:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Prince2/APMP certified, with experience in Agile foundations or working practices.
- ITIL certified or strong understanding of ITIL processes.
