Quality Manager required. My client is a leading Resin and Polymers manufacturer based in Wigan that supply products to a range of industries globally. They are looking to hire a Quality Manager to join their established team in Standish, Wigan. The ideal candidate will have a background in Quality management, will be familiar with ISO9001, 140001 & 45001, will be proficient with root cause analysis and will be based within a commutable distance of Standish, Wigan.
**Quality Manager
Position Overview
- Effectively maintaining and monitoring the Quality Management system
- Resolution of appropriate non-conformities within the system
- Ensuring timely and effective action is taken to obtain and maintain QMS compliance
- Supporting the combined internal audit schedule
- Taking effective corrective / preventative actions for non-conformances
- Setting annual quality objectives and tracking progress
- Carry out internal audits, complete reports, issue actions and follow up as required
- Contribute to Quarterly meetings and reports on a quarterly and annual basis
**Quality Manager
Position Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance / Management
- BTEC / HNC in a relevant Engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical ETC...)
- Able to complete root cause analysis and contribute to quality investigations
- Excellent understanding of ISO9001
- Familiar with ISO14001 & ISO45001
- Previous experience in the Chemical industry desirable
- Understanding of Chemical process
- Based within a commutable distance of Wigan

Position Remuneration
- Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
- Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
- 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
