IT Support Engineer

My client is an award-winning Car Dealer Group, looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team. You will be supporting over 1200+ user, covering over 50 branches, by taking calls and emails, supporting where possible and escalating to the correct team when necessary.

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact, addressing enquiries and technical concerns with professionalism.
  • Provide 1st/2nd line support via remote access tools, swiftly resolving IT issues.
  • Install new hardware (printers, servers, work stations etc)
  • Set up accounts, passwords (new and resets), permissions
  • Monitoring IT systems and infrastructure
  • Telephony support

Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a 1st/2nd line Support Role
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy,
  • Windows Server
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP TCP/IP)
  • Experience with Document Management Systems (Kerridge) would be beneficial
