The main purpose of this role is to support financial processes enabling the preparation of financial information and reporting and the integrity of financial information in respect of the pension fund.
Duties and responsibilities:
Oversee the pension fund investments, accounting, and financial management functions, advising senior stakeholders on all related matters.
Liaise with external parties on all matters in the management of the Pension Fund`s investment
Produce reports to all senior stake holders on details of the management of the Pension fund,
Keep up to date with statutory, regulatory, and best practice in respect of pension fund accounting and investing
Ensure all statutory returns are completed within set deadlines.
Produce annual accounts and reports on Pension fund.
Required Skills and Experience
Qualified Accountant with substantial post qualification experience of managing pension funds and investments.
Experience of managing others within a Finance environment
Experience of working under pressure and working to tight deadlines
A six month temporary assignment with the benefit of working within a well established and forward thinking environment.
