My client is seeking a detail-oriented International Junior Logistics Operator to join their growing Ashford-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multimodal exports and imports, ensuring seamless operations from start to finish. This is a Monday – Friday position, working from 9am – 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break, on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Main Duties
- Coordinate multimodal exports and imports, ensuring end-to-end responsibility including collections, airline bookings, and liaising with overseas agents/customers until delivery.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand requirements and deliver excellent customer service.
- Handle airline/carrier bookings and process relevant import/export documentation, including AWBs/B/Ls, and submit import & export customs entries.
- Liaise effectively and build close relationships with the supply chain, including shippers, importers, agents, and clients.
- Prepare quotations, pricing, and invoicing for clients.
Key requirements:
- MUST speak fluent Korean and English
- Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
Package & Benefits:
- Salary of £25,000 - £27,000
- 12 month foxed term contract with potential for extension
- Monday – Friday role
