Copywriter - Manchester (Hybrid) - Up £30,000
We are representing one of the UK's leading online lighting retailers which is seeking an experienced Copywriter to join the team. This rare opportunity will be working with a rapidly growing business who have had massive year-on-year growth. They have a mission to be the main online retailer for all inside and outside lighting in the UK with their core values being focused around a happy workforce and customer base.
The role will be working within the eCommerce team, creating relevant content adhering to the brand guidelines as well as proofreading all created content to ensure quality is upheld. This role comes with an element of planning and strategy as you will be expected to plan workloads against the promotional plans, conduct simple SEO keyword research and research industry related topics to produce the best content possible in the current market.
Responsibilities
- Create relevant content adhering to the brand guidelines.
- Stay up to date with SEO plans and targeted keywords.
- Plan workload against the promotional plan to ensure content is created on time.
- Research market trends and complete competitor analysis to ensure all content is up to date with the current market.
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team to write content and support on blogs, social posts, and emails.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Previous experience writing blogs/emails/social posts.
- Exposure to SEO keyword searches.
- Ability to collaborate with the wider teams and support where needed.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment or eCommerce business.
