Business Analyst

12 Month Contract (possibility of extensions/ permanency)
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The business analyst is responsible for gathering business requirements and content for other members of the development team throughout the product lifecycle.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITES
- Gathers, analyzes, and builds business requirements for the development team / squad.
- Understanding of the process flows within the domain, including exception management process.
- Is responsible for documenting requirements consistent with NT Agile standards.
- Is responsible for verifying and validating the requirements with the appropriate business and technology stakeholders.
- Is responsible for defining the requirements management plan (requirements traceability and requirements change control) for the project consistent with NT standards.
- Is responsible for assessing requirement changes, determining the impact to those requirements and providing this information to the Lean Product Owners.
- Fields any questions from the project or delivery team and clarifies the requirements. May need to go back to the Lean Product Owner and/or Subject Matter Experts for information.
- Participates in test planning and testing activities in general.
- Participates in all team/squad level rituals such as daily stand up, scope sessions, iteration planning sessions and retrospectives.
- Assists with the defect management process.
- Familiar with the overall product, as well as the future state goals.
