About the Role:
- Position: SEN Teacher
- Location: SEMH School, Halton
- Start Date: September
- Contract: Full-time, long-term
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) to address students' unique needs.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to provide holistic support for students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive social interactions.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Dedicated consultants who understand the education sector.
To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
