Description

  • Lead and manage audits for a diverse portfolio of clients in the financial services industry
  • Review and approve audit work papers and reports prepared by audit team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Accounting & Finance department
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations
  • Participate in business development initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure all audit objectives are met

Profile

A successful Audit Senior Manager should have:

  • An ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in managing audits within the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • The ability to work independently and make decisions
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client solutions
