Description
- Lead and manage audits for a diverse portfolio of clients in the financial services industry
- Review and approve audit work papers and reports prepared by audit team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Accounting & Finance department
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure all audit objectives are met
Profile
A successful Audit Senior Manager should have:
- An ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in managing audits within the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- The ability to work independently and make decisions
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client solutions
