Rapier Employment are working with a well-established client in Swindon who are looking for Class 1 drivers to join them on guaranteed shifts until December 2024.
** Must have at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience, along with no more than 6 points on your licence. **
Role:
Class 1 Driver
Hours:
Start times vary between03:00 - 23:00
Shift patterns:
- Thursday to Monday OR Friday to Tuesday. Guaranteed shifts until December 2024.
- If you are looking for weekend work only, they can potentially accommodate this.
Basic hourly rate:
£16.34 per hour
Night premium (20:00-05:00):
£1.57 per hour
Overtime pay:
£20.43 (paid after 46.25 hours worked)
Basic hours per week:
46.25 hours
Breaks:
45 mins unpaid
Role to include, and not limited to:
- Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Deliveries from Swindon will be across the South coast of England up to the Midlands.
- PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, but some store overflow deliveries may be required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
- Always provide exceptional customer service.

- Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
- CPC Card
- Digi Card
