Role Responsibilities:
- To learn how to manage and monitor the assigned project plan, associated budget, costs and contract terms, with support from surveyor / senior surveyor as appropriate.
- Liaison with Surveyor / Senior Surveyor and Senior Project Manager.
- Liaison with Financial Controller, Procurement Manager and Estimator.
- Valuation of works and collation of associated documentation for inclusion in CVR, cash flow forecast and sales forecast.
- Learn to monitor and manage orders, deliveries and invoicing of materials
- Learn to monitor and manage sub-contractor orders, approvals and payments
- Learn to manage valuations and associated documentation
- Gain familiarity with budget from Estimating department
- Provide information to enable updating of sales forecast, cash flow forecast and CVR
- Attend site meetings as required
- Manage own workload and priorities
- Complete technical qualifications.
- Provide assistance to all commercial and contract team members to ensure profit is maximised throughout the Project. Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical – working towards industry qualification eg IOB, RICS or degree.
- Strong interest and/or experience in a the construction industry
- CSCS card – visitor's card or as required by client
- DBS checked as required for specific sites.
- Competent user MS Excel, MS Word, Microsoft Outlook email and calendars.
