CMA is partnering with an SME business going through unprecedented growth to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their Portsmouth based team. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion and is an ideal role for somebody looking to take a 'step up' in their career and gain experience of working on both the ledgers and in time learning month end.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

  • Purchase ledger processing invoices, managing inbox, resolving queries and coding;
  • Sales ledger, raising invoices and allocating payments;
  • Credit control;
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • Closing the ledgers at month end.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant role:

  • Previous experience within a transactional accounts role;
  • Strong IT skills including Intermediate Excel;
  • Appetite to develop skill set within a growing business.
