Role: Project Engineer Location: Edinburgh Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 DOE Contract: Full-time, permanent
Are you ready to make an impact? We're looking for a dynamic Project Engineer to join our client's team who is a well-established MSP. If you're passionate about technology, customer service, and continuous improvement, this is a perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and on-site installation and configuration of infrastructure application, networking and end-point solutions
- Collaborative support, such as assisting the service desk and pre-sales operations when needed
- Play a crucial role in delivering top-notch IT solutions and services to our diverse client base
- Collaborate with the Project's team to plan, establish and coordinate projects.
Technical Expertise:
- Microsoft Technologies: Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Networking: LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, Fortinet, Unifi, HP, Meraki, etc.
- Virtualisation: Hyper-V & VMWare.
- VoIP Systems: Experience is a plus.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working with an MSP
- Relevant qualification within the IT sector, or similar.
- Full clean driving licence
- Be prepared to work the occasional evenings and weekends as required
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Great team and collaboration experience
