Quality Systems Compliance Officer

Broadland Drinks Ltd (BDL) are looking for a Quality Systems Compliance Officer to assist the Quality Manager in managing the maintenance and auditing of the company's Quality and Food Safety Systems, ensuring full compliance with legislation and our Quality System Accreditations

Our vision - We aim to create drinks brands consumers love and to develop 5 - 6 Broadlands-owned brands across the USA and UK, alongside our existing successful private label business.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Arrange and conduct internal audits based on the audit schedule.
  • Conduct in-house hygiene and housekeeping audits, glass/hard plastic audits.
  • Assist with Regulatory, Quality and Customer Audits.
  • Work through corrective actions raised from non-conformances identified in internal audits, including root cause analysis. Supporting and working with other departments in order to complete the corrective action within agreed timeframes.
  • Administer Customer Complaints, liaising with customers and assisting in any investigation required.
  • Audit HACCP systems/plans and Food Defense systems.
  • Administrate Supplier Complaints, liaising with suppliers, collation of evidence to send to suppliers and ensuring timely closure of supplier complaints.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Manager to maintain the Documented Quality Management System.
  • Assist with logging incident reports and any investigations and root cause analysis.

About You:

You will have strong evidence of the following key skills & competencies:

  • Experience of being an auditor.
  • Experience of HACCP systems.
  • Experience of root cause analysis.
  • Organised and self-driven.
  • Confident and work well with others.

The following would be beneficial:

  • Experience of working with a food manufacturing quality system.
  • Background in a science based subject.
  • Awareness of GFSI accreditation schemes.
