Job description:

Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a Procurement Manager – Marketing to join our team. You will be instrumental in developing comprehensive category strategies to support our Marketing function and the sourcing of Marketing services including creative services, data & analytics, production, design, and digital agencies amongst others.

Your remit will be to actively work with the Marketing team to ensure best value is achieved from their budgets by identifying new opportunities and implementing these opportunities. To excel in this role, you'll need to be a skilled negotiator and possess excellent communication skills.

The Key Requirements...

  • Develop comprehensive category strategies that support Procurement and business objectives ensuring successful implementation by translating them into realistic, achievable and actionable plans.
  • Identify and implement cost savings across the category
  • Negotiate and implement contracts, through a range of tendering processes to meet business requirements.
  • Implement supplier performance measures and continuous improvement plans to ensure quality and service expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of business objectives.
  • Provide regular market analysis, benchmark data and supplier evaluation, to support category planning and mitigate risk
