Job Title: Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager
Reporting to: Operations Manager

Key Role and Responsibilities:

The Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager will play a vital role in supporting business and management team from a finance perspective. This position requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Payroll
  • VAT returns
  • Accounts to Trial Balance
  • Monthly reporting
  • Adhoc reports and tasks as requested by management

Personal specification:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in various software programmes, including email, word processors, presentations, and spreadsheets
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • SAGE 50 experience ESSENTIAL

On Offer:

  • Permanent position with 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (flexible start/finish)
  • Salary of up to £35,000 per annum
  • Pension and holiday benefits
