Controls and Electronics Engineer

The successful Controls and Electronics Engineer will be designing, developing, testing and maintaining company generators and embedded systems. You will identify and fix technical issues, working collaboratively with engineers, product managers and other companies teams.

  • Designing and building embedded systems, including embedded control system firmware
  • Testing and debugging embedded systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining the system after development
  • Improving system efficiency and stability
  • Collaborating with other departments to create systems based on their needs
  • Assisting in the development of production processes and procedures
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure continuity of manufacturing process

To be successful in this role of Controls and Electronics Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant industrial experience
  • Proficient C, or C++ programming skills
  • Proficiency in working with common embedded systems communication protocols
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Desire and ability to work on their own effectively and with a collaborative approach
  • Experience of integrating new sensor technologies
