Client Details

The client is a Manufacturing/Engineering organisation based in Birmingham

Description

  • Provide expert guidance on people practices and HR processes aligned to business plan commitments and change programmes.
  • Act as the local HR lead for programme-related developments, ensuring all people impacts are identified, logged, and addressed.
  • Influence key stakeholders on the people implications of future operations and transformation activity.
  • Partner with senior leaders to embed effective people strategies.
  • Identify and manage employee relations and legal risks related to proposed changes.
  • Support with planning, analysis, and presentation of people-related data and metrics to inform decision-making.

Profile

  • Proven experience in a senior HR business partnering role, ideally in a unionised environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and organisational change processes.
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working with or within complex operational organisations is essential
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR qualification preferred.
  • Outcome-focused, highly organised, and data-literate with a collaborative mindset.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary c. £60-70k
  • 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working arrangements (Birmingham base, 2-3 days on site).
