PCTU Trials Assistant

Our client, a prestigious London University, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join them as a temporary PCTU Trials Assistant. The position is 35 hours per week, for 2 months in the first instance. The role offers hybrid-working, with 4 days per week based on-site in Central London and the rest remote initially, but this will reduce to 3-days.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Acting as the trials assistant, feeding back any study issues or progress to the trial manager.
  • Organising and attending relevant meetings, including recording, and distributing minutes.
  • Assisting with the administration tasks and creation of trial specific documents e.g. protocol, consent form, patient information leaflet etc.
  • Help with preparation of kits for the clinical trials, and the clinical trial database testing and data entry.
  • Ensuring that the trials are complying with Good Clinical Practice and other relevant regulatory legislation.

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a higher education setting.
  • Demonstrable, strong experience in communicating with a wide range of internal and external staff.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using various IT systems.
  • Ability to independently organise and prioritise workloads.
  • Willingness to undertake basic training in data security and good clinical practice.

This role requires an immediate start, so you will need to be available immediately or have a short notice period in order to be considered.
