Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's largest and most successful Surface & Highways Company to source a skilled and proven Mobile Plant Fitter for their Sheffield location to work on a specialist fleet of machinery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven and experienced Plant Fitter to join one of the UK's largest specialist Highways firms on a full-time permanent basis in a mobile role.
Our client work in multiple sectors with complete UK wide coverage. Throughout the Covid pandemic our client has won and extended major contracts. Due to this they now require skilled staff in their Dartford location.
Mobile Plant Fitter Position Overview
Within this role you will manage and maintain the companies mixed and specialist fleet. You will cover complete Plant Fitting duties including servicing, repairs, welding & fabrication work etc.
You will receive specialist on the job training and be rewarded with excellent pay and additional benefits.
Mobile Plant Fitter Position Requirements
- Relevant Engineering qualifications - Essential
- Proven experience working on Plant & Specialist machinery - Highly Desirable
- Clean UK driving licence - Essential (mobile role) - Van included.
- HGV Experience - Desirable
- Experience in Servicing & MOTs of HGV vehicles - Advantageous
- Flexible working approach - Essential
Mobile Plant Fitter Position Remuneration
- Salary DOE - £19.50- £22.00 Per Hour
- Monday - Friday
- Company van and Fuel Card
