The SEN Teaching Assistant will be a crucial member of the KS2 support team, reaching out to all the SEN students in Year 4. The Gloucester Primary students are struggling to access the mainstream KS2 curriculum.
The SEN Teaching Assistant role:
- Full time basis, 8:30am-4:30pm daily (Term time only).
- ASD/Autism experienced (Level 2 qualification preferable)
- 1:1 sessions to enable the KS2 student to access the mainstream KS2 curriculum.
- Starts September 2024
- £83.33 - £90 daily pay
Successful SEN Teaching Assistant candidates will be able to adapt tasks from the lesson plan, implementing the KS2 curriculum. Techniques such as "Now and Next" boards, flash cards and alternative out of the classroom tools are encouraged to be used.
