We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Operational Business Analyst.

Role Purpose:

Global Liquidity within in Group Treasury (GT) is leading the implementation of Collateral Capabilities. This programme of work is responsible for the implementation of a strategic collateral platform alongside regulatory commitments and is recruiting support for a key workstream. This is a visible and high priority programme at Group level and consists of several delivery pillars in accordance with the components of the strategy. It has short, medium, and long-term objectives to achieve a collateral management function, and success which will result in material benefits for Group Treasury and sites respectively. The programme is required to move at pace with multiple strands and competing prioritises and parallel deliveries on both a tactical and strategic basis.

Experience

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Recovery Resolution Planning (RRP) project. The RRP project involves pooling loans together as collateral, and your role will be critical in ensuring successful execution. You'll collaborate across legal, PMO, and business functions to drive liquidity and loan-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse loan lifecycle, different loan types (corporate, mortgages, etc.), and loan contracts.
  • Provide liquidity and treasury expertise, including submissions to regulators.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Data analysis experience / data augmentation and reconciliation.
  • Deep understanding of loans and their history within the organisation

Technical Skill Requirements

  • Good understanding of the Treasury business and associated risks, with ability to translate complex concepts into programme artefacts
  • Good understanding of systems and data architecture in Treasury, risk and/or Finance environments, with ability to speak with and bridge the communication between business stakeholders and Technology team
  • Experienced Business Analyst with data knowledge and experience

  • Strong execution and problem solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to present information in a professional manner, including preparing documents for review by C-level audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to C-level audiences
  • Personal ownership of target and resolution of issues
  • Ability to deal with change in role and working environment
  • Team player and able to manage conflict and conflicting priorities
  • Ability to provide direction to more junior colleagues

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Financial services and project delivery.
  • Experience working with loans (corporate, mortgage etc)
  • Previous experience is highly beneficial
  • Experience in change management, driven by IT systems implementation or enhancement, across a large organisation, including agile delivery frameworks.
  • Experience in people management is highly preferable.
  • Strong people management and communications skills, providing information to senior stakeholders.effectively
