Norfolk - Buyer - Manufacturing
My client are leaders in the manufacturing industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands and are looking for a Buyer to come and join their team.
Main Duties:
- Supporting the Senior Buyer in delivering an effective procurement strategy;
- Building and managing relationships with suppliers;
- Placing and expediting orders with suppliers;
- Liaising heavily with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the availability and timeliness of materials for production across the site;
- Being an active participant in the Supply Chain team to continually drive process and procedural improvements in the daily work;
- Monitoring order prices against standard with an objective to save money
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience within a Purchaser/Buyer type roles
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong IT Skills
