Internal Sales and Social Media Coordinator

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join a global engineering business as an Internal Sales and Social Media Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive, positive attitude and a flexible approach to teamwork, ready to contribute across various functions to drive success.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Answer and manage incoming calls, ensuring effective communication and action as required.
- Plan, administer, and update social media posts to engage audiences and enhance brand visibility.
- Generate and distribute informational and advertising email campaigns.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to create new images and videos for marketing purposes.
- Regularly update the website with blog posts, new images, and other content.
- Produce monthly quotes and sales statistics, highlighting open quotes for follow-up.
- Input data related to quotes and sales orders into our SAP system, and manage sales and purchase processing.
- Create formatted quotes for the sales team using Word.
- Reactivate and engage inactive contacts.
- Develop new sales opportunities by building relationships with new and existing customers.
- Welcome and host visitors, providing refreshments and a friendly reception.
- Identify and capitalise on upselling opportunities.
- Provide support for exhibitions and other company events.
- Assist in other areas of the company as needed to support overall business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with social media management and content creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and SAP systems.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in sales, particularly within an engineering or technical field, is advantageous.
