This role is for a Part-time Finance Manager with a sound accounting background, ready to support a Not For Profit organisation in Manchester. The individual will take charge of the financial management, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and assist in strategic planning.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Part-time Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Manage the organisation's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
  • Develop strategic financial plans for the organisation's growth.
  • Ensure compliance with finance regulations and legislation.
  • Manage budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Lead, coach and develop the finance team.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making at the management level.

Profile

A successful Part-time Finance Manager should have:

  • Not for Profit and Charities background.
  • Ability to commute to Manchester.
  • Part qualified Accountancy or experienced in related field.
  • A strong background in financial management and accounting.
  • Experience in strategic planning and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Working knowledge of finance regulations and legislation.
