Entry-Level Payroll Administrator (Temporary, 3 months)

Location: Brighton, East Sussex.

Job Type: Temporary (with possibility of extension)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Payroll Administrator. This is a temporary role with a duration of 3 months, during which the successful candidate will receive comprehensive on-the-job training. There will be possible extension of the role.

Responsibilities:

Assist in processing payroll for employees accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with the HR team to maintain employee data and ensure accurate records.

Calculate wages, salaries, and deductions, including overtime and bonuses.

Prepare and issue employee paychecks via electronic transfer.

Assist with tax forms and related documentation.

Learn and utilize payroll software systems effectively.

Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.

Participate in training sessions to enhance payroll knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Prior experience in payroll (preferred but not required).
