The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Private Client team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering high-quality advisory services, and driving the growth of the department. You will work closely with partners, directors, and other team members to ensure the highest standard of service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing tailored advice on wealth management, financial planning, tax, and estate matters.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships built on trust and professionalism.
- Advise on complex private client issues, including inheritance tax, trusts, estate planning, and investment strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of private client professionals, ensuring their continuous development and high performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide clients with a holistic approach to their financial needs.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for business development and growth within the private client sector.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in private client services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing high-net-worth private client portfolios, ideally gained in a professional services or wealth management environment.
- Strong technical expertise in tax, estate planning, trusts, and financial planning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and offer strategic advice.
- Leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing teams and developing talent.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CTA, STEP, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- A commercial mindset with a proactive approach to business development.
