Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher of Science to work at a popular secondary school in Rochdale.
This role will be a full time position starting in September for the full academic year until July 25. You will be required to teach the 3 sciences, Biology, Chemistry or Physics. The school is a welcoming school where you will feel part of the team from day 1. You will be expected to mark the work you deliver, and provide feedback to them students. You will also be required to attend parents evenings and departmental meetings when they arise.
The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

Minimum rate of pay £153 per day
Hours 8:30am 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent
Previous experience teaching Science in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
Recent Science teaching experience preferred in a UK school
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide at least two professional child related references
