Our prestigious client, a provider of Business to Business finance, is recruiting for a Collections Co-ordinator. As a Collections Co-ordinator you will assist the Collections manager with the tasks of manageing defaults, termination of agreements and the recovery of assets and bad debt.
Duties
- Dealing with the LPI ledger, matured agreements, creating invoices and processing Worldpay card payments
- HPI registration, producing MI for various processes including forbearance, vulnerable customers, producing assignment documentation for hire purchase and lease agreements.
- Contributing to the company's overall financial objectives, and risk management through diligence, care, and expertise.
- Compliant working within company policy, procedure, legislation, and regulation, to mitigate bad debt.
- Developing and maintaining relationships and networks with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (by phone and in writing, with external clients and stakeholders as well as internal departments).
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Numerate, literate, with good analytical skills.
- Good Microsoft suite knowledge and experience including Excel. Power BI experience is beneficial (training provided).
- Good admin and organisational skills.
- Consumer Credit Act knowledge and experience (desirable)
- Conversant with polices relating to FCA
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Education: Min GCSE English, Maths C/equivalent. Degree level or professional qualification in asset finance or credit management sectors, ideal.
