Collections Co-ordinator

Our prestigious client, a provider of Business to Business finance, is recruiting for a Collections Co-ordinator. As a Collections Co-ordinator you will assist the Collections manager with the tasks of manageing defaults, termination of agreements and the recovery of assets and bad debt.

Duties

  • Dealing with the LPI ledger, matured agreements, creating invoices and processing Worldpay card payments
  • HPI registration, producing MI for various processes including forbearance, vulnerable customers, producing assignment documentation for hire purchase and lease agreements.
  • Contributing to the company's overall financial objectives, and risk management through diligence, care, and expertise.
  • Compliant working within company policy, procedure, legislation, and regulation, to mitigate bad debt.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships and networks with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (by phone and in writing, with external clients and stakeholders as well as internal departments).
  • Financial and commercial awareness.
  • Numerate, literate, with good analytical skills.
  • Good Microsoft suite knowledge and experience including Excel. Power BI experience is beneficial (training provided).
  • Good admin and organisational skills.
  • Consumer Credit Act knowledge and experience (desirable)
  • Conversant with polices relating to FCA
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Education: Min GCSE English, Maths C/equivalent. Degree level or professional qualification in asset finance or credit management sectors, ideal.
