Description
As Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for managing a c. £40m+ spend across a variety of ingredients categories. alongside leading a team of 2.
- Create, input and recommend a Commodity Risk Management (CRM) plan for your categories
- PPV ownership
- Managing suppliers and ensure 100% OTIF using appropriate tools within the business
- Reviewing and drafting supplier contracts to provide beneficial terms which benefit Vibrant
- Drafting and executing RFI'S and RFQ's, finalising recommendation for sign offs before implementation
- Source new suppliers, de-list non performing suppliers and provide a clear plan for your suppliers using the vendor management process
- input into annual budget process and identifying risk & opportunities. Take action to minimise risk and optimise opportunities
- Leadership and development of 2 direct reports
Profile
- FMCG manufacturing experience - preferably food
- Global sourcing experience Inc. commodity driven markets
- Proven leadership and talent development
- The ability to challenge suppliers, constructively to ensure cost savings whilst building long term relationships
- Strong ER/MRP experience Inc. Excel
- A confident communicator, with the ablity to hit the ground running
Job Offer
The succesful candidate for this Commodity Manager role will be offered up to £75,000 plus package;
