Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with an established company based in outskirts Uckfield who are looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor.
The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and working with the Factory Lead Hand in managing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. The responsibilities include safe production of product by regular testing, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards and managing a team of workers.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor:
- Lead and train factory and warehouse staff
- Conduct daily meetings and enforce policies
- Set objectives and monitor staff performance
- Manage inventory, stock rotation, and storage
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Oversee quality control and product testing
- Coordinate production schedules and procurement
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and usage
- Optimise workflow and collaborate with other departments
- Generate KPI reports and maintain data records
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct training
Operations Supervisor Person Profile:
- Experience in factory and warehouse settings
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and health & safety regulations
- Hands-on experience with raw pet food production
- Full UK Driving Licence and Forklift Licence
Certifications Required:
- Basic Food Safety in manufacturing, HACCP Level 2
- Health & Safety in the Workplace Level 3
- Fire warden and First Aid certification
