Our Fine Art Storage and Shipping company is looking to appoint an experienced Fine Art Transport Manager for their business in London.
Reporting to the Director, the Fine Art Transport Manager will lead a team of drivers and handling customer requests ensuring compliance and first class customer service at all times. Experience in Fine Art handling and transportation is essential for this role.
Fine Art Transport Manager duties include:
- Efficiently managing a team of drivers making sure they comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations
- Dealing with customers' requests via phone and mail, arranging quotation and collections/deliveries for UK and Europe by road freight.
- Arranging collections/deliveries for the UK by road freight
- Overseeing the collection/delivery time of goods, maintaining delivery schedules and tracking the fleet of vehicles, ensuring customers' requirements are met
- Keeping a record of the documents related to the bookings
- Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to guarantee and keep records of in and out goods
- Ensuring that colleagues are kept up to date on shipping and UK transport/warehouse movements in order that workflows can be planned properly and operations run effectively.
- Ensuring excellent client relationships are maintained by keeping customers updated and informed at all times, by going to whatever lengths are required to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
We are keen to speak to professionals who have knowledge and working experience from the Fine Art industry. Candidates must be able to use their own initiative and have good problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and customer service skills are also essential.
In return the successful Fine Art Transport Manager will be offered up to £50,000, in line with experience and skills.
