Your Role:

As part of the Transport Planning team, you'll be working closely with our National Distribution network to measure the performance of our sites and drivers against set routes. Your insights and reports will be instrumental in driving changes to our processes, technology, and behaviours, helping us operate more efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customer order schedules for distribution using Paragon, aiming for 100% order fulfilment and continually improving the feasibility of our routes.
  • Analyse route data using Paragon Live to identify deviations and use those insights to tweak and improve the next day's schedule.
  • Keep our master data in tip-top shape, influencing our National Distribution teams to update customer details and complete driver debriefs.
  • Tackle short-term challenges by making informed decisions that balance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue potential.
  • Contribute to our Fulfilment Safety agenda by planning alternative routes, improving driver break schedules, and refining customer premises data to keep our drivers safe and well.

About you:

  • You have solid experience in transport, logistics, or distribution.
  • Experience with SAP and Paragon, the systems we use for managing operations and route planning, would be highly advantageous. However, we believe that these systems are teachable for the right candidate who is willing to learn.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at managing challenges under pressure.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, with a knack for working with data and solving problems logically.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a process-driven mindset.
  • You are a collaborative team player with the ability to influence and work effectively across different departments.
