Tradewind are looking for a dedicated Science Technician to join a large secondary school in Oldham.
This is a full-time, long-term role, beginning ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing chemicals, materials, and equipment for science experiments
- Safely storing and disposing of hazardous substances, in line with COSHH regulations and general procedures in a laboratory setting
- Supporting teachers and students during practical activities
- Maintaining a clean and organised lab environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a similar role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Provide professional references
