Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Manager / SHEQ Manager Salary: £47,000 + car allowance and benefits. Staffordshire based, Monday to Friday

Are you a passionate Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental professional ready to make a significant impact?

We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented SHEQ Manager to join an established engineering company that designs and manufacturers products with a key eye on sustainability and a turnover in excess of £200m.

As a key player in the organisation, you will be instrumental in driving excellence across health, safety, quality, and environmental initiatives.

Working across multiple manufacturing sites you will

  • Champion a culture of safety and compliance across
  • Lead the development and implementation of robust SHEQ systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards including accreditations to ISO 9001, FORS, RISQS, Achilles, and Ecovadis
  • Devise and implement sustainability initiatives across the group
  • Lead and manage the compliance team (1 direct report).
  • Maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliant Quality Management Systems.
  • Prepare for and conduct annual audits.
  • Review 3rd party suppliers and business partners
  • Chair HSQE& F Management Review meetings.
  • Oversee risk assessments for all locations and field-based engineering teams.
  • Conduct site assessments and maintain H&S procedures.
  • Manage hazardous waste documentation and procedures.
  • Train on environmental protection procedures.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing and implementing health, safety, quality, and environmental initiatives.

As the SHEQ Manager what will you need to have?

  • Tech IOSH / Grad IOSH or CMIOSH
  • Proven experience in SHEQ management, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering or technical industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

You will be based onsite for 1-2 days per week, and across the other two sites in Brownhills and Gloucester
