Payroll Clerk

- Job Type: Full-time 9am to 5:50pm FULLY OFFICE BASED
We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to ensure accurate and timely payroll production in accordance with statutory regulations. This role reports directly to the Payroll Manager and offers a great opportunity to enhance your payroll skills in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Process the payment of salaries through the payroll system, including holiday and statutory payments.
- Administer the Statutory payment schemes.
- Respond to queries from clients regarding their pay, taxation, and National Insurance.
- Handle communications with HMRC and address any related queries.
- Liaise with clients regarding pay log and invoice queries.
- Manage inbound calls and resolve queries effectively.
- Assist with Right to Work and Document Checks.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a payroll practice environment.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word).
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressured environment.
