Management Accountant

We are seeking a Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Deal. This role offers a competitive salary and the chance to work within a dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial information to management, aiding strategic decision-making and contributing to the financial health of the company.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues to provide a support service to the company's core operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable.
- Proven experience in a management accounting role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
