Title: Residential Conveyancer
Location: Leeds City Centre - Hybrid working available
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 DOE
An award winning firm are looking for Residential Conveyancers to join their successful team. The firm provides a full range of advice and services to clients and prides itself on staff retention and reputation in the area.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced conveyancer to join our legal team. The conveyancer will be responsible for facilitating the legal aspects of property transactions, ensuring that all relevant documentation is prepared accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Handle own caseload of up to 80 files, from instruction to completion
- Dealing with a mixed caseload; Freehold, Leasehold, Sales and Purchases
- Drafting Legal Documents
- Facilitating Transactions
- Providing Legal Advice
- Managing Due Diligence
- Ensuring Compliance
Requirements:
- Qualification (Solicitor, Executive, Licensed Conveyancer) - beneficial not essential
- Proven experience handling own caseload from instruction to completion
- Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and document preparation software.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
