Overview:
We are seeking a 7.5tonne or Class 2 HGV driver to join our Furniture delivery client in Warrington on a temporary on going basis which may lead to full time employment!
Duties:
- Drive 7.5t in a safe manner
- Complete 8-10 deliveries per day to customers homes in a 2 man team
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
-Install and build furniture (full training will be given)
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
Shift's:
- Tuesday-Saturday shift pattern
- 6AM -7AM start times
- 9-10 Hour shifts
Qualifications:
- 7.5t(C1) or Class 2 HGV(C)UK licence
- Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
- Extensive knowledge of applicable HGV driving rules and regulations
- No more than 6 points for MINOR offences - None of the following can be accepted: DD,DG,IN,CD,TT.
- Good customer service skills as you will be customer facing at the point of delivery
