Part-time English Teacher Job
Salary - Paid to scale M1-M6
Contract - Full-time

The Role
Hays are proud to be recruiting for a secondary school based between Sheffield and Chesterfield who are looking for a Music Teacher for long-term cover starting from September 2024. This job is in an academy school, which is part of a trust based in the South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire region. This is a long-term job role, with the potential for extension.
The ideal candidate for this role would be an independent and experienced music teacher who is able to teach the whole curriculum from KS3 to KS5. They will become an active member of the music department, working collaboratively to plan and deliver lessons, focusing on the abilities within their groups and providing one-to-one support for those students who require it.
Requirements and Qualification
- QTS or equivalent
- Ability to evidence passion for the subject
- Commitment to long-term work with the possibility of permanent employment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
