Aftersales and Staircasing Consultant

We are looking for an Aftersales and Staircasing Consultant to provide an exceptional service in staircasing and equity loans progression and completions. The ideal candidate will ensure a highly professional experience for all stakeholders and progress all activities through to completion within the agreed timescales and in line with targets.
Day to Day of the role:
- Achieve weekly and monthly targets regarding equity loan and staircasing completions.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, displaying product knowledge.
- Read and interpret leases/equity mortgages and provide effective advice to customers and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records using the appropriate database and case management systems.
- Collate audit-compliant application packs and carry out relevant checks on shared owners.
- Manage all staircasing/equity loans caseloads and contribute to achieving targets.
- Support customers during the staircasing/equity loans process with advice and regular updates.
- Prepare weekly reports on activities and progressions, ensuring performance standards and compliance with procedures.
- Stay up to date with technical product knowledge and relevant legislation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in a broad range of IT systems.
- GCSE level C or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of shared ownership products and money laundering regulations.
- Ability to interpret shared ownership leases, staircasing processes, and equity mortgages.
- Understanding of FCA & AML regulations and the mortgage market.
