Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
- Implement system integration solutions to connect data sources and systems effectively.
- Lead data mapping efforts to ensure seamless integration and consistency across databases and platforms.
- Oversee data migration projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and optimise data architecture and workflows.
- Troubleshoot causes and provide solutions to data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Python and SQL.
- Strong understanding of system integration, data mapping, and data migration concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in designing and optimising relational databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
