Client Details

Our client, a well-established player in the distribution sector are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee a small team of 2 on a part time and permanent basis. Working with some well known brands they have an impressive client base, and pride themselves on meeting SLAs when moving goods across the UK and Europe.

Description

Finance Manager duties include:

  • Leading the Finance Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and overseeing a team of 2.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and legislations.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly VAT returns and coordinate tax/ year end auditing processes.
  • Managing financial risks of the company.
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Coordinating with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  • Development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Involvement with Payroll and HR related duties.

Profile

The successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or related field.
  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or QBE
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and management skills.
  • Previous experience in distribution is advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel ability

Job Offer

  • A salary of £50,000 pro rata'd
  • 25 hours per week, can be flexible to drop hours or pick up more
