Location: Manchester
An expanding geotechnical and environmental consultancy with multiple offices across the UK are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Ground Investigation specialist to join their team near Manchester. You'll be joining a specialist team with over a decade of experience on a range of projects across the North West - providing exposure to a variety of work and excellent training where required.
The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be:
- Carrying out ground investigations.
- Assisting with site walkovers.
- Writing factual and interpretive reports.
- Carrying out soil and rock logging.
- Trial pitting.
- Carrying out phase 1 desk studies.
- Observing day to day tasks to develop knowledge.
- Mentoring junior team members.

To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineering role you must therefore have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geography or a relevant subject (MSc preferable). Candidates must have experience in the Ground Investigation industry, hold a full UK Driving Licence, have a full right to work in the UK and live commutable to Manchester and surrounding areas.
