Sheridan Maine is pleased to represent a dynamic and thriving North London-based business seeking a talented Sales Administrator to join their dedicated team on a temporary basis. As a Sales Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for customers placing orders. Your role is critical in ensuring a seamless customer experience, from order creation to payment processing. You will handle customer interactions with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities as the Sales Administrator will include:

  • Order Processing: Raise sales orders within Sage Line 50 via telephone, walk-ins, or email. Post invoices and arrange deliveries with third-party transport companies.
  • Payment Processing: Receipt payments for invoices via cash, debit, or credit card. Reconcile daily cash and card receipts and prepare cash for collection and deposit three times a week.
  • Credit Control Assistance: Update account managers on outstanding balances and email customer statements regularly.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and assist with month-end stock updates.

To be considered for the role of Sales Administrator, you will require:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Sage Line 50 or similar ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to work.
