We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assessor to conduct workplace assessments for electrical apprentices and students in East London. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in the electrical industry and a passion for guiding the next generation of electricians.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct workplace assessments for electrical apprentices and students, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to learners, helping them develop the necessary skills and knowledge required for their end point assessment.
  • Assess and evaluate learners' competence through observations, professional discussions, and written assessments.
  • Deliver effective feedback and provide constructive advice to learners to aid their development and improvement.
  • Collaborate with tutors, employers, and key stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to the learners' development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and qualification requirements to ensure the delivery of high-quality training and assessment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an electrician in the industry.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications, including Lv3 Electrical Installation qualifications (18th Edition)/ NVQ.
  • IV/ IQA qualifications and an Assessor Award.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and evaluate learners' competence effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
