Job Description:
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team at Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust. This role includes general Occupational Therapy duties across acute care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and assist in managing patients' transitions from hospital to home or further rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions in acute, rehabilitation, and discharge planning settings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Support safe and efficient discharge processes for patients.
  • Contribute to the rehabilitation and recovery of patients, promoting independence and quality of life.

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in acute, rehab, and discharge planning settings.
  • Strong team-working and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload.
